summer time blues?

pfff ... i think not ... mostly because it's finally getting to that time of year again! what time of year you may ask? the stampede? nope not quite ... (although i am super pumped about it), that's right ladies and gentlemen ... its almost time for DAYCAMPS to start! whooooooo!! over the last couple of days i've been going through the mandatory week long training ... (although after 5 years it tends to get a little old) but i gotta say i'm already having a blast ... the people are awesome and i am freakin pumped for the summer to actually begin! this summer is great because i feel like it's my first year again ... there are only about 4 returning staff this summer so the majority of the people working are new to summer camps at the Y. making the group dynamics a 'shit ton' different, but still pretty sweet.

i was thinking about it today, and there's not much that i'd rather be doing, i've had an alright time sitting on my ass and taking it easy but i've come to the conclusion that it really sucks being jobless. So me working = a really good thing. needless to say there will probably be multiple posts over the next couple of months about stupid kids or parents ... possibly combinations of both, but that's okay ... it's worth it. so here's to a great summer! and if you're around the Y, drop in and holla at cha boi!
