a new hope?!
hahh, it's not that i'm depressed i just really like star wars ... but it looks like my life is taking a somewhat unexpected, but not unwelcome turn.
yesterday i received a job offer from GE Oil and Gas for an 8 month internship! what does that mean!? well ladies and gents, it means that this guy will be outta the school system for the next 8 months! with me not being the biggest fan of school lately this can only be a good thing, and i for one am more than excited. the job, while it might not be the most glamorous of jobs it's not too bad, basically i will be working as a project coordinator on some of their current projects. hhah, who would've figured, can't get an interview with future shop, but can land a decent job downtown ... my life in a nut shell. adding to that i think i've figured out my time line for the next couple of years ... it's still in the planning stage, but i hope to do a student exchange in september of 2008 and an international internship in january of 2009. whooo planning for the future!
